Want to Pick up your Moonbounce?
Astro Jump of Metro DC prides itself on offering free delivery of all of our inflatable moonbounces and moonbounce combos to anywhere in our DC, Virginia and Maryland delivery areas. As part of this service we will come to the location of your choice and set up and take down the equipment at the end of your party. While we typically do not stay with the moonbounce rental during your event, attendants are available from Astro Jump for an additional fee.
Just this year we started offering our customers the chance to pick up certain moonbounce rentals themselves. Now why would anyone want to do that when the delivery, set up and pick up of our moonbounces is free? First off, if you come to pick up your moonbounce from us yourself you will receive a 10% discount on the rental. Secondly, if you at the last minute decide that you want a moonbounce rental, it might be too late for us to deliver it to you. But it’s never too late to pick it up yourself! Furthermore, picking it up yourself allows us to provide you with a little more flexibility on party times. While our latest pick ups vary based on the time of the year, as long as we have someone at the shop, you can drop it off as late you would like at the end of the day. We can work out this drop off time with you when you call to reserve your inflatable.
Not every inflatable rental we have is available for a customer pick up. For example, most of our inflatable slides and inflatables water slide rentals are very heavy and large inflatables. As such, we only allow certain inflatable slides for pick up. Standard bounce houses and many moonbounce combos are light enough for many customer to handle after a little training from our staff.
When you come to our warehouse in Springfield, Virginia to pick up your moon bounce, we give you a brief run through of how to set up the equipment and handle it yourself. We will also load the moonbounce into your vehicle and unload it once you bring it back at the end of your party. We will go through the process of unrolling the piece and more importantly, rolling the moonbounce after you are done using it. There is a very specific way to roll a moonbounce. Unless rolling is done correctly, it might be difficult to fit it in your vehicle and you might hurt yourself since it is still a very heavy piece of equipment. If you have any doubts in your ability to handle the inflatable, we encourage you to ask us as many questions as possible before your rental and even take a picture of the moonbounce as you unroll it.
Picking up your moonbounce is an effective way to get a last minute rental or to save some extra money. Even so, it is not meant for everyone. You must have at least an SUV and even some of those will not fit a small bounce. This is why we offer free delivery to any customer renting a moonbounce in our delivery area.
