Sometimes I am asked what the most popular age group is for renting moon bounces. My answer is that the majority of our customers are children 14 and younger, but that actually people of every age rent moon bounces and other inflatable party rentals. As we have discussed before, depending on the time of year different inflatables are more popular than others. In the summertime inflatable waterslides are the hit product, while during the big event times like spring and fall, large obstacle courses or dry slide rentals are very popular. While hundreds of different styles of standard moon bounces exist with all different types of themes and cartoon graphics, a standard bounce house size is generally referred to as a 15 x 15 foot bounce house. Yes, some are slightly larger while others are slightly smaller, but 15 x 15 feet is the standard moon bounce rental average size. Anyone of any age can jump inside a standard moon bounce rental. We generally suggest that bounce houses of this size can fit between 5 to 10 people. If you think this is a wide range, it’s because it is! The size of the people jumping determines how many people can fit inside the moon bounce. This is why when older people call wanting to rent a moon bounce, we typically suggest that they choose one of the larger moon bounce options.

Extra Large Fun House Moon bounce Rental:

The next size up from the standard moon bounce rental is the Extra Large Fun House. This moon bounce is still just a simple moon bounce with bouncing as the only activity inside. Rather than 15 x 15 ft of space, however, this moon bounce has 15 x 20 feet of jumping space. This is the most popular moon bounce rental for older people and what we recommend when people inquire about a moon bounce rental for their office party or graduation party. This is also a great option when you are hosting a party where there will be a wide age range of people. Block parties, for example, are a great place to rent an extra large fun house. While the space dimension may only seem slightly larger, believe me, the jumping space is noticeably larger than the small standard sized bounce house.

Jumbo Fun House Moon bounce Rental:

The Jumbo Fun House is the largest moon bounce rental option available. At 20 x 20 feet of jumping space this bounce house is huge! We suggest that this moon bounce can fit between 12 and 18 people depending on everyone’s size. If you are having an adult party, this is the best option for you if it is available. If you are hosting a party for a lot of children, you might also consider this option. If you want only a huge jumping space for all of the kids to jump, this is your best bet. If instead you want a moon bounce combo that has other activities other than jumping, such as basketball and/or a slide, the 4 N 1 or 5 n 1 combos are you best options.

Moon bounces can give people of all ages a time to let loose and have some fun. If you would like to rent a traditional moon bounce, one of these options is your best bet. Moon bounce capacity is usually best determined by what looks safest rather than because of weight restrictions. If people are jumping into each other, there are too many people inside. Usually this will happen before a weight capacity is reached. If you are planning a party for older people, it is usually best to start with one of the larger size moon bounce options.
