Outdoor Laser Tag Versus Paintball

Many people do not realize how similar Astro Jump’s outdoor laser tag program is to paintball. In fact, when done in a similar setting, the only difference is that nothing actually hits you. The normally colorful paintballs which sting upon impact give way to a flash of light that unless it’s dark, you can’t even see. But don’t be fooled, the shooter, or tagger as we call them, can see perfectly where he/she is aiming. This is because on the top of each of our taggers is mounted a high tech laser red-dot site. As long as you are within 300 yards of your target, the laser taggers will hit their targets accurately every time. Try finding a paintball gun that is that accurate!

Other than the actual game piece (taggers), the two sports (outdoor laser tag and paintball) are very similar. Game play is the same, the obstacles are the same, and the team nature of games is also the same.
