Moonbounce Power Requirements

Safety is always the number one priority here at Astro Jump, so we wanted to provide you with information about power requirements that must be met and adhered to on site. If you added a generator to your order, then these power requirements will be met, and we will ensure enough outlets are available. 

The mechanical piece that inflates each inflatable is called a blower (pictured left) – most basic moonbounces and moonbounce combos will just require one blower. If you are unsure how many blowers we will be bringing, please ask!! The number of blowers required will also be shown on each contract. The location where we place the blower MUST be within 100 feet of a 110volt/20amp electric circuit (this is simply a standard wall outlet, but we do ask that you double check). We like to be as close as possible to the outlet, because running long extension cords can limit the amount of power reaching the blower. It is very important to remember that if multiple blowers will be running during your event, we prefer to have each blower on a separate circuit. If too many blowers are attached into one circuit, then we run the risk of not being able to fully inflate the piece, or could trip a breaker, which takes some time to reset and can be frustrating during a party!
