Moonbounce Delivery Windows
Putting together a route schedule for a popular moonbounce rental day is like piecing together a puzzle. On days where there are 10 parties, the puzzle is easier, but when we have over 50 parties in a day, which occurs regularly throughout the warmer months in DC, Northern Virginia and Maryland, the puzzle becomes expert level. This is where our master puzzle maker comes into play. While he can’t actually start piecing together the puzzle until the day before so that we can allow for more customers to reserve their moonbounce or waterslide party, strategy begins days, if not weeks beforehand.
Most moonbounce and waterslide parties in DC, Maryland and Virginia take place on Saturdays or Sundays. With so many parties in so tight a window with specific party start times, the task seems impossible at times. This is why when you book a party with Astro Jump of Metro DC, we ask for as large a delivery window as possible. We use these delivery windows to piece together the different route schedules with the ultimate goal being that the parties must start on time. While many who rent moonbounces and waterslides have busy schedules, we require at least a two hour window before you party’s start time in order to allow for delivery. If you say no and we can only have 30 minutes, then we might be late.
Our goal is make sure ALL of our customers have parties that start on time. This is why we require a delivery window before your party’s actual start time. Many of you who have rented from us over the years know that we are good at accomplishing this task. If you say you don’t care how early we come, you might find us knocking on your door several hours before your party. Since we do not charge by the hour on most of our moonbounce and other inflatable rentals, most of our customer express gratitude when their kids get to plan on the moonbounce for a few more hours.
When we have so many parties in a day, the only possible way to piece together the puzzle so that everyone can get their moonbounce party started on time is to work with these delivery windows. If our manager sees a speed bump in the schedule for a party, we will call you the day before to see if you can be more flexible with your delivery window. Sometimes, we might even ask if we can deliver it the evening before. Ultimately, our goal is to bring you the fun on time!
