Long Term Planning for Events

Astro Jump of Metro DC helps our customers plan and execute large events throughout the year. As we have discussed in previous blog posts on large events, planning large events is a more complex process than birthday parties and needs special attention given to logistics like the flow of the event and the varying age groups and interests of the people attending. A number of Astro Jump’s customers who plan large events come back to us every year for help with the new event. Many of the time the event mechanics have stayed the same, while in other cases customers choose to go in a different direction. Sometimes customers will want a large event inflatable like a giant slide, obstacle course or waterslide and it will not be available for their event because another customer will have already reserved it.. While Astro Jump does have multiple items of many of our inflatables, we don’t for EVERY item. 

This problem can be easily fixed by planning for and booking your event early. The saying “the early bird catches the worm” absolutely applies when it comes to reserving inflatables for your party or large event. Our suggestion is that if you know when you’re event is going to take place and you know that you want a specific piece, call us to reserve it. For some reason many people, myself included, don’t like to plan things too far in advance. We have a tendency to procrastinate. If you want the giant Cliff Hanger Slide at your event this fall, call us now to reserve it before it is booked by someone else. This goes the same for many of our other large event pieces. Especially if your event is on a holiday or holiday weekend, call now so that we can make sure you get exactly what you want for your next event.
