Inflatable Waterslides with Pools

Inflatable Waterslides with Pools

Astro Jump of Metro DC is the Northern Virginia, Washington DC and Maryland premier rental company for inflatable water slide rentals. This is why when it comes to choosing the right waterslide for your party we have a number of strong opinions. When is is hot and no one wants to go outside, there is really no better option for an outside birthday party than something water related. Not everyone has a pool and almost no one has a waterslide, so we prefer to bring you both.

The inflatable water slide manufacturers, as we discussed in a previous blog post, make a wide variety of waterslides and interactive water inflatables for rental companies like Astro Jump. At Astro Jump of Metro DC we buy almost exclusively slides that have a pool at the end. We think that in almost every case a waterslide wouldn’t be nearly as much fun if once children got to the end there was no pool to plop into. If you look at our selection of waterslides, only two of them do not have a slide at the end–the Big Kahuna and one of our Run and Splash’s. Even with only two waterslide options without pools, you might ask yourself, why have any?

Some child care organizations prefer waterslides without pools at the end to ensure that no one can drown under their watch. While the pools are only about 2 feet deep, if left unattended, terrible accidents can still happen. Even though we are unaware of any child care organization that doesn’t watch their kids 100% of the time, some would just prefer to not take any chances. We respect this and are happy to still offer a few options without a pool at the end to keep kids cool during those long and hot Washington DC summer days.

The pools at the end of waterslides have the unique ability to make any piece age appropriate for even the youngest of children. For example, say that you are planning a graduation party or adult bash and want a big waterslide. You decide to go all out and rent our very popular and very large 65’ Tropical Waterslide. Standing at nearly 30 feet tall and 65 feet long, this mega waterslide can entertain people for hours. Even though this slide might not be appropriate for very young children, they can still keep cool when the adults are not using it by hanging out in the large pool at the end. This way everyone can join in the party and everyone can stay cool no matter how hot it is. Believe it or not, we get asked all the time if it is okay for younger children to hang out in the pool. The answer is absolutely, as long as no one is going down the waterslide at the same time!
