Getting Ready for Moon Bounce Season!

At Astro Jump of Metro DC we have finally begun the great ramp up for the 2013 inflatable rental season. While we have also been working and delivering high quality inflatables to our customers over the colder months and holidays, there is no doubt that this business is seasonal. For example, does anyone want to rent an inflatable water slide in December? How about a frozen drink machine? Brrrrrr…..Yes, we do still rent plenty of indoor bounce houses and moon bounce combos in the colder months, but it seems that people crave inflatables and other party rentals more when it is warm outside.

We typically will start the season in March with plenty of standard moon bounce, moon bounce combo, obstacle course and giant slide rentals. During this time we continue to rent plenty of indoor moon bounces also as people fear the weather. As we move closer towards the full swing of spring we add onto to that trend concessions, like cotton candy machines and popcorn machines, as the big events begin to happen. Once the temperatures really begin to climb, the sno cones become popular with inflatable water slides following closely behind. While water slides are popular when it’s steaming hot outside, once September hits people once again move back to the traditional inflatable rentals. As the large fall events begin to take shape the renting pattern is very similar to that of late spring with all the popular large event items in hot demand once again.

As moon bounce season begins to get going as we head into mid-February, we at Astro Jump of Metro DC are gearing up also. Get ready for another great year customers and pray for good weather!
