While we are in the midst of a section for the blog on popular party ideas, with the addition of the mechanical bull rental to the team, it is too difficult not to share the news with you. Astro Jump of Metro DC has long been a Northern Virginia, Washington DC and Maryland leader in inflatable rentals. With the addition of the mechanical bull we enter into the world of mechanical rides. In truth, I don’t see us going too far in this direction, but the mechanical bull was just too hard to pass up. At the international amusement trade show in November we looked at a wide variety amusement devices, moonbounces, laser tag and other inflatables to purchase for the 2014 season. While we did purchase several other items, like the Emerald Ice inflatable waterslide and others to be revealed later, “Debo” the mechanical bull struck all of us as the must buy piece.

The new mechanical bull has a huge variety of interactive bull riding options for our customers of all ages. With each mechanical bull rental, an Astro Jump staff member will accompany the bull to make sure the event is fun, safe, and suitable for whatever audience is participating. If the party is for children, Debo the mechanical bull has age appropriate settings so that even the little ones can try their chance as a professional bull rider. When they fall off, which they probably will, there is an automatic stop switch that turns the mechanical bull off and a large American flag inflatable surrounding it that provides a soft landing for the bull rider. If the bull rider is an adult instead, or even a professional bull rider, Debo the mechanical bull has settings that will test their skills as well. I would suggest to all aspiring rodeo cowboys that they try their best on Debo the mechanical bull before trying their skills in the real rodeo ring. At least this way when you fall off, you fall on a soft moonbounce rather than the dirty, dusty and hard ground of a rodeo ring.
