We’ve Got Answers!

Every event is unique. Factors like location, timeframe, delivery requirements, and equipment all impact pricing. Our knowledgeable Event Planners are happy to provide a custom quote that fits your budget and event needs. For accurate pricing, please contact us by phone, email, or rental request form. We look forward to speaking with you!
Absolutely! Our courteous drivers deliver, set up, and ensure that each ASTRO JUMP® is clean and in good working order before your event begins. Afterward, they return to take down the equipment. Setup typically takes 15–30 minutes per piece, with takedown about the same. This service is included in your rental price.
To help with scheduling, we ask for a three-hour window both before and after your event time for delivery and pickup. In certain cases, we may be able to provide a narrower delivery and pickup window for an additional fee.
We do not charge a traditional delivery fee. Instead, we apply a one-time, flat-rate fuel surcharge based on the event’s distance from our warehouse.
For safety reasons, we do not allow customers to pick up or self-setup our inflatables. Our attractions are large and require professional installation. We may be able to offer a customer pickup for our concession machines and package games if your order does not meet minimum delivery requirements.
Most rentals are available for up to 6 hours before our evening cut-off. Attendant interactives are priced by the hour. Many items can also be rented overnight or for additional days for an added fee. Please confirm the specific details with your Event Planner.
ASTRO JUMPS® plug into a standard 110v household outlet. We provide an extension cord, but ask that nothing else be plugged into the same circuit. Setup must be within 100 ft. of the outlet; we do not connect multiple cords for safety reasons. For parks or locations without power, generators are available for an additional charge.
Yes, you may use a customer-supplied generator if it provides a minimum of 5,500 starting watts. However, Astro Jump cannot guarantee that a generator will be fully compatible or that it will perform as needed. If you choose to use your own generator, Astro Jump is not responsible for any delays, equipment downtime, or other issues that may result from insufficient or inconsistent power.
Astro Jump provides generators with a full tank of fuel, which typically powers equipment for 4 to 6 hours. If your event runs longer than this, you will need to supply compatible fuel (regular unleaded) and handle any necessary refueling during the event.
Please note that if backup fuel is not provided or the generator is not refueled as needed, power may be interrupted, which could affect equipment operation. Astro Jump cannot issue refunds, credits, or rate adjustments for service interruptions due to fuel shortages.
The safest surface is level grass, but we can also set up on flat concrete or asphalt. Please let us know your surface type so we can bring the proper anchors.
For most deliveries, routes must be clear of stairs, steep hills, or narrow gates. A minimum 4 ft. wide gate is required. For indoor setups, double doors with a removable center post are necessary. Some units may have additional requirements—please ask when booking.
When reserving, we can provide the dimensions of your unit (also listed on our website under “space needed”). You’ll need enough room for the unit plus clearance around it for safety. Please also check overhead for trees and power lines. Please inform your Event Planner of any potential obstructions when booking to ensure a smooth delivery.
Other requirements:
- Gate opening of at least 4 ft. (some units require more)
- Level area
- Delivery path must be free of stairs or steep hills (some exceptions may apply and require pre-approval from our operations team)
- Free of grass clippings or other yard waste
- All pet waste removed before delivery
- Customer provided water source and hose within setup of water units
For all water-related units (including water slides, dunk tanks, and similar equipment), the customer must provide a functioning water source and a standard hose that reaches the setup area.
Many water-related rentals require a continuous, consistent flow of water throughout the event to operate properly. Water is supplied at a controlled flow designed to keep surfaces slick; water will not rush down the inflatable. Excessive water pressure is not permitted, as it may cause leaks or damage at the connection point
Fill times vary depending on the water source and pressure. While the approximate fill time is typically around one-hour, lower pressure or other factors may require additional time. When scheduling delivery and setup, please allow sufficient time after installation to fill all pools and water-holding components so the equipment is fully ready by your event start time.
No. Astro Jump will fully install all water-related rentals and connect the provided water source during the scheduled setup window, however, installation does not include remaining on-site to fill pools, dunk tanks, or other water-holding components. Customers are solely responsible for monitoring and completing all filling after setup is complete.
Yes. Our units are built with safety in mind. However, as with any activity involving children, adult supervision is required at all times. Many of our units provide partial protection from the elements. If a cover is included, it functions more like a shade canopy and will not keep out rain or prevent water from entering. Our mesh siding allows for visibility and air circulation.
Yes. Each ASTRO JUMP® office is independently owned and operated, and all are required to carry liability insurance. We will gladly provide a copy of our policy information upon request. Please note that all rentals require a signed rental agreement prior to setup.
Customers can add optional equipment protection coverage when placing their order with ASTRO JUMP®. The Damage Waiver is an optional add-on that costs 9.5% of your rental total. It protects against accidental damage that may occur during normal, supervised use – such as small fabric tears or broken zippers. It does not cover damage from misuse, rough play, weather, or prohibited items like Silly String. If you decline the waiver, you’ll be fully responsible for any repair or replacement costs if the equipment is damaged during your rental.
Yes. A 20% deposit is required for reservations made more than one week in advance. The remaining balance is due no later than 48 hours prior to your event date. For bookings made within one week of the event, payment in full is required at the time of reservation.
Please note that all artist and entertainer bookings require payment in full at the time of booking. These payments are non-refundable and are necessary to secure their services.

Yes. For the safety of participants and to protect our equipment, inflatable units cannot be operated in extreme weather conditions. Inflatables may also not be used when ambient temperatures fall below 40°F, as the vinyl material becomes stiff and loses elasticity, increasing the risk of injury and equipment damage.
If extreme weather is expected at the time of setup or during the event, or if temperatures are at or below the safety threshold (or forecasted to reach it), Astro Jump reserves the right to delay, suspend, or cancel the use of equipment until conditions are safe.
If an inflatable begins to deflate or stops functioning, have all participants exit the unit immediately. Check the blowers, power sources, extension cords, circuit breakers, and inflation tubes.
If the issue cannot be resolved, contact Astro Jump at (703) 339-8000 for guidance before attempting any additional repairs. If your call is not immediately answered, please leave a voicemail. We may be assisting another customer but will return your call as soon as possible.
