The amusement rental business is so large and diverse that no company can own everything that customers might rent to entertain guests. As such, it is quite common in the industry for companies to specialize in a field and work together to execute events with a wide range of entertainment options. Astro Jump of Metro DC, Virginia (VA), and Maryland (MD) specializes in inflatable rentals, which include moonbounces, waterslides, moonbounce combos and every other inflatable amusement device. We also offer a wide range of small and large carnival games and concession machine rentals. Our goal for our customers is to be your one-stop-shop for all of your amusement rental needs. We do this to make your lives easier by serving as your sole contact for the event. It can be a pain to have several vendors to deal with at an event, so our one-stop-shop model creates one central event planner for you to work with to plan and execute your event. By employing this model, Astro Jump is able to offer far more services than we directly own.
When we adopted this model we started by offering face painters only. In only 3 years our entertainer line has increased from just face painters to include other talented artists like balloon artists, caricatures, airbrush tattoos, magicians, clowns, and even impersonators just to name a few. Now we can even bring you a fire blower! Depending on your birthday party or corporate event, an entertainer might be just what you need, so feel free to brainstorm with our event planners as to which one(s) will work best at your event.
In 2013 Astro Jump added our first mechanical bull rentals. This was our first foray into the world of mechanical amusement devices and the bull has been a huge hit. For most mechanical items we subcontract to a few providers in the area who specialize in the field. To become one of our subcontractors you need to prove to us that 1) you are fully trained and experienced on operating your equipment 2) fully insured 3) regularly maintain your equipment to ensure safe operation and first class appearance. As such, we only work with a few subcontractors in the mechanical field who we consider to offer a quality service. While we compete with all of these subcontractors on some events, we are partners and friends on others. Welcome to the amusement rental business!
